India had been under English rule for more than 300 years what you can see in their gastronomy as well. Did we all know that the best Indian restaurants are in London? Tonight we have a delicious soup, then a home made meat stuffed pita bread. We have two type of curries: the Chicken Tikka Masala, the most British Indian food and Vegetable balti refers to a spicy vegetarian curry, definitely not overcooked. As a side dish we make cumin fried rice.


  • Mulligatawny / Curried sweet potato soup, coconut
  • Calcutta mughal paratha / Indian flatbread filled with meat
  • Chicken tikka masala / Chicken in cashew- tomato sauce
  • Vegetable Birmingham balti / Vegetable curry, chickpeas, cauliflower
  • Pulao rice / Spicy rice

Gerenal infos

Cooking is hands-on, each pair preparing the full menu in small batches. Our cooking sessions last about 3 to 4 hours with typically 10 participants. The menu contains 3 to 7 courses/dishes. The food can be eaten at the course or taken home in small containers.

Our adult courses are targeted for adult participants, but we are happy to receive children as attendees over the age of 12 years with an adult.
